IGBAF SPECIAL EDUCATION EVALUATION AND ELIGIBILITY

I - INSTRUCTIONAL PROGRAM

 

Uinta County School District Number One shall ensure a full and individual initial evaluation will be conducted by the public agency before the initial provision of special education and related services to a child with a disability in accordance with §§300.300 – 300.311 of the IDEA regulations.

 

A re-evaluation of each child with a disability will be conducted by the public agency in accordance with §§300.300 – 300.311 of the IDEA regulations.

 

Local procedures are maintained in the District’s “Special Services Manual” and may be accessed in the office of the Director of Special Services and in each school building. The local procedures in effect may be amended, modified or rescinded from time-to-time by federal or state laws, rules or regulations and such amendments, modifications or rescission shall be made part of the local procedure on the effective date of their adoption by federal or state authorities.
