IHC/IHD SCHEDULING FOR INSTRUCTION/STUDENT SCHEDULES AND COURSE LOADS

I - INSTRUCTIONAL PROGRAM

 

Scheduling dictates the frequency, duration and instructional group for each class or course. Elementary teachers shall prepare a weekly schedule for this purpose. Flexibility in scheduling is permitted. Middle and high school weekly schedules shall also be formulated and on file. All schedules shall be approved by the superintendent of schools and shall be on file in the district office prior to initiation of instruction.

 

Note: The specific daily scheduling for each school building, in accordance with state and Board requirements for the length of the school day, is set by the administration and submitted to the Board for approval.
