IIAC MATERIALS SELECTION AND EVALUATION POLICY

I - INSTRUCTIONAL PROGRAM

 

The Board of Education shall delegate to the Superintendent of Schools, the authority and responsibility for selection of all learning materials print/non print. Selection procedures shall involve representatives of the professional staff who are directly affected by the selection and persons qualified by preparation to aid in the selection process.

Gifts to the library may be accepted if they meet the criteria established for the selecting of all instructional materials.
