Director
Uinta County School District #1 recognizes that extra-curricular activities are an integral part of the total educational program.
Extra-Curricular activities support the Mission of the district. They are not a diversion but rather an extension of the educational program. Extra-curricular activities are inherently educational. They build character and provide valuable lessons in teamwork, sportsmanship, winning and losing, hard work, etc. Participation in activities is often a predecessor of later success . . . in college, a career, and becoming a productive member of a changing global community.
