A support staff employee may be suspended or dismissed for inefficiency, incompetency, insubordination, neglect of duty, and justifiable decrease in the number of positions or any other just cause. Dismissal shall require the action of the Superintendent, designee or formal action of the Board of Trustees. A support staff employee may be suspended, with or without pay, for a specified period of time for any just cause by the Superintendent or designee.
Terminated support staff employees shall receive remuneration for any earned salary or vacation time at full value and any earned sick leave at the established rate for severance remuneration of sick leave. Terminated support staff employees shall not be entitled to remuneration for any earned time or leave days other than salary, vacation time or sick leave.
