Administrators and staff members are encouraged to take leadership roles in educational development. The Board considers such professional activity beneficial both to the employee and to the district, within reasonable limits. Consulting in improvement projects, especially when they might require a staff member’s absence during working hours, shall required proper approval of the superintendent with a possibility of appeal to the Board.
