GDPB RESIGNATION OF SUPPORT STAFF MEMBERS

A support staff employee shall file a letter of resignation with the Superintendent, through the immediate supervisor, at least two weeks prior to the effective day of the resignation. The two weeks notice may be waived under extenuating circumstances by the Superintendent or designee, but only if a suitable replacement can be found.

Upon resignation from the District, a support staff employee shall be entitled to all earned salary which has not been paid by the District.

A support staff employee who provides two weeks written notice of resignation shall receive remuneration for any earned salary or vacation time at full value, and any earned sick leave at the established rate for severance remuneration of sick leave. Remuneration shall not be granted for any earned time or leave days other than salary, vacation time and sick leave.
