The Board of School Trustees reserves the right to dismiss a teacher or other employee upon grounds of incompetence, neglect of duty, immorality, insubordination, unsatisfactory performance or any other good or just cause, as permitted by law.

Teachers are expected to conduct themselves at all times with dignity befitting their position. Fraternization between teachers and pupils is strictly prohibited. Flagrant violation of this provision may result in immediate dismissal.

Suspension or dismissal proceedings may be initiated by the superintendent or any member of the Board delivering to the teacher a written notice thereof, together with written reasons for such action.

Upon receipt of notice of recommendation for dismissal or suspension, the teacher may request a hearing on the recommendation as provided for by the Wyoming Teacher Employment Law.

Established by statute and board action of 3-29-78
