GDE PART-TIME AND SUBSTITUTE SUPPORT STAFF EMPLOYMENT
G - PERSONNEL
Part-time non-certificated staff shall be recruited and selected in the same manner as full-time staff members in the particular category of staff. Their rate of pay and benefits shall be established at the time of their employment and shall be set forth in their individual employment agreement with the Board.
Substitutes for non-certificated staff positions shall be employed by the superintendent or his designee, as appropriate to the particular position for which the substitute is sought, in accordance with the district’s regular recruiting and hiring procedures. The rate of pay for support staff substitutes shall be established by the Board.
All support staff substitutes shall be paid from the district payroll, through the central office and not directly by the regular employee.
