J - STUDENTS

 

Marital, maternal or paternal status shall not affect the rights and privileges of students to receive a public education nor to take part in any extracurricular activity offered by the school.

Pregnant students shall be permitted to continue in school in all instances when continued attendance has the sanction of the expectant mother’s physician. The physician’s approval of this continued attendance must be on file at the school. The school administration is authorized to make special arrangements for the instruction of pregnant students to provide an educational program designed to meet their special needs.
