JEC SCHOOL ADMISSIONS

In accordance with Wyoming Statutes 21-4-301 through 21-4-309, Right to Attend School, all children having obtained the legal age for admittance into the public schools of Wyoming and who reside within the boundaries of Uinta County School District Number One, may attend public schools without payment of tuition. In addition, persons who do not reside in the District may be admitted in compliance with W.S. 21-4-501 through 21-4-505 and under Board policies relating to nonresident students or by specific action of the Board.

A birth certificate or proof of legal age and proof of residency may be required by the school administration.

All children new to the District, especially Kindergarten and First Grade students, are encouraged to have a thorough physical examination prior to enrollment.

In accordance with Wyoming Statute 21-4-309, all students initially enrolling in the public schools of Wyoming must within 30 days, provide the District with official verification of immunization against vaccine preventable diseases as designated by the state health authority. The record of immunization must give proof of required immunization against vaccine preventable diseases as designated by the state health authority.
