INVITATION TO BID

Sealed bids for construction of Uinta County School District No. 1 Evanston High School Multi-Recreational Facility located in Evanston, Wyoming 82930, will be received until 4:00 P.M. May 18, 2023, and then publicly opened and read aloud at the Districts Maintenance Facilitylocated at 325 Kirlin Drive, Evanston, WY 82930. A mandatory Pre-Bid Meeting is scheduled for 10:00 A.M on May 4, 2023, at the District’s Maintenance Facility.

The project consists of all labor, material, equipment, and incidentals necessary to complete work at the following project:

Site improvements for the installation of two ASATI Air Dome Structures (133’ x 90’ each). The Air Dome structures, mechanical/ electrical equipment, foundation steel angles, man-doors, turn-style doors, and other hardware are provided by the District and are in storage in Evanston. In addition to the assembly and erection of the two air domes and equipment the work, in general, includes clearing a grubbing of a roughly 0.9 acres site, demolition of existing shotput and discus concrete, concrete steps, and two evergreen trees, earthwork for a new site access road (Owner provided waste area). concrete work including  flatwork and sidewalks, footings/foundations and dome slabs, ADA ramp with walls, handrailing, and guardrails, steps with handrails, equipment pads, slab-on-grade for installation of an owner provided metal building. Utility work for a bid alternate restroom, underground electrical, natural gas, small diameter (4” to 8”) storm drains, storm drain inlets, trench drains, and site lighting.

Each Bidder will be required to submit, with their bid, a certified check, or Bid Bond made payable without condition to the Uinta County School District No. 1 in the amount of not less than five percent (5%) of the Bidder’s maximum Bid Price as a guarantee that such Bidder will enter into a contract within five (5) days after the date of the OWNER’S Notice of Award.

Subject to Wyoming Statute 16-6-105, preference is hereby given to materials, supplies, agricultural products, equipment, machinery, and provisions produced, manufactured, or grown in Wyoming, or supplied by a resident of the state, quality being equal to articles offered by the competitors outside of the state. If a bidder is claiming resident contractor status bidder shall submit proof of resident contractor status per Wyoming Statute 16-6-102 with bid.

Uinta County School District No. 1 reserves the right to reject any or all bids, or any part of any bid, to waive any formality in any bid, as its best interest may appear.
