EEA STUDENT TRANSPORTATION SERVICES

E - SUPPORT SERVICES
 

In accordance with state requirements, the Board of Trustees of Uinta County School District Number One shall:

-- provide bus service adequate to meet the needs of the district;

-- require that the buses be adequately maintained;

-- arrange for needed training courses for drivers;

-- provide for adequate insurance coverage and established policies for

operating the transportation system, and for routes and eligible passengers.

Equipment

The school district owns and operates its own school buses. The superintendent of schools shall be responsible for the execution of the transportation policy and regulations adopted pursuant thereto. All or part of this responsibility may be delegated to the Transportation Director. It is the director’s duty to provide for bus maintenance, supervise the drivers and present necessary records and documentation to the business office for accountability purposes.
