E - SUPPORT SERVICES
Fire drills will be conducted in all schools at a minimum of one (1) fire drill during each month students are in attendance. A written record, reflecting the date(s) and time(s) fire drills were conducted, evacuation time, and any general comments pertaining to the fire drill, will be maintained in the principal’s office of each school. A copy of this record will be forwarded monthly to the superintendent’s office.
The proper order of procedures during fire drills will be issued by each building principal. In line with the procedures set forth in the Uinta County School District Number One – Emergency Preparation Manual. Appropriate in-service will be conducted annually by the building principal, to insure all students and staff are thoroughly versed in the appropriate evacuation procedures to be used in the event of an emergency.
