The purchasing division keeps a record of vendors' performance under formal and informal contracts or orders. Purchasing employees having knowledge of the facts prepare a vendor performance record of any shortcomings in performance. These records are used for consideration of bidder responsibility. Serious or repetitive minor shortcomings may result in the vendor being removed from the bid list. Should any vendor fail to respond in any way on three successive invitations to bid, the vendor may be removed from the bid list by the purchasing agent.
Sales Calls and Demonstrations
The soliciting and occupying of a teacher's time or other employee's time on private business is forbidden during school time or while such employees are in the school building.
No sales agent or solicitor shall be permitted to interview employees on school premises during school time except with the permission of the Superintendent.
