Notice is hereby given that Uinta County School District Number One (UCSD #1) will hold a Public Forum on Thursday, February 26, 2026, beginning at 6:00 p.m., in the Auditorium at Evanston Middle School, located at 341 Summit Street, Evanston, Wyoming.
The purpose of the forum is to provide information regarding proposed education funding for the 2026–27 school year and the potential impact to UCSD #1.
During the forum, Superintendent Ryan N Thomas will review:
- Key components of the education funding model
- Applicable state law
- The potential impact of the proposed work completed by the Legislature’s Select Committee on School Recalibration
- A brief legislative update
- Recommended direction as the Legislature prepares for a vote on education funding
The agenda includes a presentation followed by a question-and-answer period.
The forum will be streamed live. The livestream link will be available on the day of the forum on the district’s website at www.uinta1.com and on the district’s Facebook page. In addition, a link to the presentation materials will be posted on the district website.
All community members are encouraged to attend or view the livestream. Seating is limited.
