STEM CP English 10 is designed to take the student's skills in reading, writing, speaking and listening to a new level. The skills formed in 9th grade and before provide a strong foundation upon which the student can now build throughout this year and the rest of the high school experience. Within the STEM Academy, this course will have a greater focus on informational and non-fiction reading and writing, and will provide critical skills that can be applied to all the STEM courses as well as any academically rigorous course.

It is recommended that students research possible ideas or talk to their other STEM teachers for possible ideas. This procedure involves multiple complicated steps and needs be to something the student can try and rewrite. In other words, the student must have access to the necessary materials.
