KN RELATIONS WITH GOVERNMENTAL AUTHORITIES

K - SCHOOL-COMMUNITY RELATIONS

 

Uinta County School District Number One has joined the Lincoln-Uinta Association of Governments by adopting a joint-powers agreement. Annually, the Board elects one of its members to serve as the Board’s representative to the Association.

The Board has joined the Association for the benefit and welfare of the school district as well as for increased communication and collaboration with other governmental bodies and agencies. However, the Board of Trustees has the right to terminate the agreement upon 90 days notice should such termination, in the judgment of the Board, be in the best interests of the school district.
