D - FISCAL MANAGEMENT

 

State Department of Education Requirements (Beginning with the fiscal year ending June 30, 1982)

Within six (6) months of the close of each fiscal year, the complete financial records of the district will be audited by an independent auditor in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles.

Within six (6) months of the close of each fiscal year, a copy of the audit will be sent to the State Department of Education, State Examiner and County Clerk.

The Board shall consider and act upon recommendations of the auditor for maintaining an efficient system for recording and safeguarding school district funds.
