BDDF VOTING METHOD

B - SCHOOL BOARD GOVERNANCE AND OPERATIONS
 

To pass, any motion must receive five (5) affirmative votes--that is, approval by a majority of all Board members. The chairman has full voice and votes on all motions before the Board.

 

All actions or motions passed or denied in Board meetings shall be recorded as unanimous votes, except that at the request of any members the chairman shall call the roll and the yeas and nays shall be recorded. Each member may ask to have his name and vote recorded in the minutes.
