B - SCHOOL BOARD GOVERNANCE AND OPERATIONS

 

Any vacancy occurring on the Board of Trustees shall be filled within 30 days from the date the vacancy occurs by action of the remaining members of the Board. A person chosen to fill a vacancy shall serve until the next annual election of the school district trustees at which time a trustee shall be duly elected and qualified for the remainder of the unexpired term.

 

A vacancy shall be declared on the Board if any member becomes a nonresident of the school district in which he is elected, or for such other reason as listed in law.
