The purpose of Uinta County School District Number One’s Human Resource Department is to provide resources and information to help every employee realize a positive contribution to the district mission and vision. We accomplish this by selecting the most qualified, well-prepared candidates, then providing benefits that help them create a balance between their personal and professional lives.

Employees of Uinta County School District Number One are our most important resource for providing a quality educational program for the students. Recognizing this, it is the goal of the Human Resource Department to provide for the following:

The selection and recruitment of the very best available candidates for all open positions in the district.
To promote positive employee/employer relations.
To develop and utilize personnel evaluation procedures which contribute to the growth of staff capabilities and learning programs.
To provide qualified substitutes for instructional staff when needed.

The staff of the Human Resource Department is available to assist prospective and present employees with any issues related to the employment process, benefits or their current employment status.
