JHCB INOCULATION OF STUDENTS/COMMUNICABLE DISEASES

The Board of Trustees of Uinta County School District Number One has established a policy that everyone enrolled in grades K through 12 meet current Wyoming Immunization requirements as determined by State Statutes and their accompanying standards and recommendations.

An immunization record shall give proof of the required immunizations or show proof of an authorized waiver and shall be an integral part of the student’s school record.

a. Waivers may be obtained only from the state or county health officer upon submission of religion or medical contraindication to the administration of any vaccine.

b. A pupil may be admitted to school on a temporary basis for a period not to exceed thirty (30) calendar days, at which time the immunization records indicating that immunizations are up to date, or appropriate waivers must be presented for attendance to continue.
