Description
This course will contain basic genre units of literature mixed with composition. Students will learn the basic literary techniques and apply them to short stories, nonfiction, poetry, drama, and a novel.

Students who received a C, D, or F on their research paper final draft may rewrite their paper for a letter grade of a B, if the rewrite improves their skills and knowledge. Students must turn in their original final draft and their rewrite by November 7th at 3:30 p.m. Students can receive help before school or after school on the rewrite.
